Ah but there isn't a federal standardization of schools. And there shouldn't be. Theres no room for it in the constitution.I think the Federal government only bogs down the education process by making stupid tests and wasting tax payers money. No I still think there should be no dept of education. The states have the right to regulate their own schools. It was granted them that right in our constitution. I believe the federal government has no right to tell the states what to teach our children. I think the would just fuck it up anyway. Which they do.

Hmmm Is it the role of the federal government to provide perscription drugs to people? No. However that right is reserved to the STATES. THEY can regulate all the companies they want. I am speaking strictly as per the federal government. State programs almost are always better than federal ones. And if a state wantesd to regulate those drug companies and their prices then good! They are looking out for their citizens. I don't believe the FEDS have all the answers to our problems. I think the states should have more powers to decide what happens in their states. They are better educated on their own affairs, better equipped, and bewtter suited to provide that kind of care to the people of their respective states.

I'm thinking that the federal government is not the answer to our problems, but part of the problem itself.
