Subject: What I find so disgusting about "news"

Rush Limbaugh, Reichminister of Propaganda, always tells his listeners, "the media said...," or "the media wants you to believe...," with the implication that he is not media.

He calls it the "liberal media" and acts as if there is no conservative media. He would have people think that he is, "on a relentless pursuit of the truth," when in fact his mix of facts, morality, distortions, and lies makes him as evil and anyone he criticizes in the liberal media.

The conservatives have really amped up their political and media machine the last few years to become as mean as they accuse the Democrats of being. The Republicans have become
a party of ruthless thugs out to bludgeon morality into us with checkpoints, legislation, the emergent church-state welfare cabal, and a brutal war against employees and the environment.

Jesus is fucked! The new conservatives only need Jesus for window-dressing on their facist progrom to reclaim the United States for Protestant totalitarianism. In their theology, Jesus is the white male CEO of Heaven, Inc., who wants to further enrich the already super-wealthy elect. Jesus is the hard-hitting executive who wants to bring under subjection to the elect every thought, word, deed, minority, religion, artwork, and sexual orientation and act
that does not fit their Calvinized notion of decency.

Fox News is such a reprehensible tool of GOP propaganda.
Turning on Fox News is the video equivalent of stepping in dog shit. It truly sucks. And yet Rupert Murdoch has no qualms about making money off crap like "Married With Children" while being Bush's butt-boy in the news room.
