I love how Bush says 'nukleer'...

Anyone familiar with Jacob Weisberg's theory that Bush has psychotic tendencies? As he was researching material for his book BUSHISMS, Weisberg noticed that GW only made his oral gaffs when he was talking about altruistic issues -those issues that directly or indirectly require GW to care about the pain and suffering of others. When he is discussing warfare, patriotism, nationalism, etc, he almost never makes a mistake. Weisberg interprets this phenomenon as an indication that Bush can't hold his attention on altruistic issues. His mind wanders and therefore he makes mistakes. And since he really likes warfare, he hardly ever makes a gaff because he is so focused on death and destruction that he doesn't even have to try.

I enjoyed the piece on NPR this morning where someone suggested we could fund educational programs with millions of dollars. We simply fine politicians for every use of poor pronunciation, poor grammar and individuals referring to themselves in the third person.
