These right-wing extremists do have a few wildcards up their sleeves, with controversy swirling around elected Democratic Party officials past and present, plus an unusual allegation of child abuse by Paula Poundstone, which dovetails perfectly with their hatred of Hollywood and its' culture that most Americans embrace.

Bingo. As much as I hate to say it, I think this country is due for a big swing back right soon, and stuff like the above will probably be the catalyst.

Since c. 1900, we've swung like a pendulum between periods of left and right. During the early 20th century, the Progressives were in control; then along came Harding, Coolidge and Hoover; in the 30s through early 50s, the liberals took over again with FDR and Truman; then came Eisenhower for eight years; the liberal flag raised again under Kennedy and Johnson, then fell to Nixon, Ford (and to some extent) Carter; the last big conservative peak was with Reagan in the 80s, and that ended 12 years ago. Liberals have been pretty much in control of the U.S. for the last decade; the pendulum will swing back right eventually.
