Subject: All in all, a so-so episode....(though I am feeling a bit warm at the moment!)

I'm not a huge fan of the flashback episodes. I hated Mutiny, for obvious reasons (*cough* icky Mic *cough*), though in hindsight, I don't mind the modern day parts so much. But, I did enjoy GoCP, so I went into tonight's episode with a very open mind. I've come to the conclusion that I love JAG because of the characters. I didn't know any of the people in this episode and was completely unable to connect with them. I just didn't care all that much about what happened to them.

From a storytelling perspective, it was a good episode. It did show the heroism of the nurses... and apparently all Navy doctors were jackasses (PL did that just a leeetle to well, I think ). I applaud DPB for devoting an episode to these unsung heroes, and I thought the cast did a great job, especially SL, KT, and JMJ. I just didn't feel connected in any way. In GoCP, we knew Harm Sr. and the effects that his life (and death) have had on our Harm. It provided that connection.

Now, there were a few things that I absolutely L-O-V-E-D loved about this episode! Enough that I'm not going to tape over it....

HARMSKIN!!!!! Not only HarmSkin, but glistening-with-sweat HarmSkin! Oh. My. God. Can I get a yum? I knew from the spoiler pics that we'd get to see DJE in a tank top, but I didn't expect that to be his only wardrobe. Those arms! Those pecs!

I will be re-watching the "let's take a walk scene" for years to come. Did you see Harm's butt in those jammie pants?!?!?! I've always loved the X-Files episode "Monday" b/c of Mulder's wet yellow jammies. Now I have Harm jammies!! Yay!! Can someone do a screencap of that? Where's that drooling emoticon when you need it?

Playing doctor. 'Nuff said

And a passionate kiss. It wasn't Harm and Mac, but I have a feeling it's as close as we're going to get for a very long time. [sigh]
