In reply to: Barbie 's message, "On the B storyline, after the CO made the admission about ordering the wrong amount of medicine, Harm was supposed to go to the judge and recommend that they don't go to a court martial because 2 careers would be ruined - the LT for not following orders and the CO for making a mistake with the ordering of supplies, with the rationale being they didn't want to lose 2 good officers who tried to do the right thing with the wrong results. And Mac was supposed to agree. They cut it out for some reason." on 19:50:44 04/25/05 Mon

MUCH more efficent use of time to tape/FF through all the irrelevant filer-ie, anything that doesn't have at least one of the DD in it.

Idiotic "B" story line too, btw. I guess TD has it in for military docs for not being 'military' enough. Here's a clue, military docs have NEVER been military, and they don't call each other on medical judgement calls, which on the bottom line was all it was.

If a military doc gets called on something, it's almost always by a non-doc. The saying is you always want the doc who looks/acts LEAST military to be the one treating you since that one considered themselves a doc first and an officer a very poor second. The "higher ups" know this and for the most part like it that way.

What a load of rubbish, which once again proves that TD's military advisor is good at keeping the uniforms presentable and the salutes good and stinks at most else. IMO, this guy never heard the word "nuance" in his life. I guess this comes as having a tech advisor for a show about NAVAL OFFICERS be a former ENLISTED MARINE. Yup, that always made sense to me!!! NOT.

Glad to see I haven't missed much over the last season of not watching at all.

Praying for a terrific, shipper, H and Mac resolution, but not holding my breath.

Replies:

  • that certainly would have made more sense - did the scene with Mac talking with the Lt. about a deal and her wanting to stay in - was that in the original script - or in a different place? Otherwise that conversation wouldn't have made sense after Harm talking to the judge. We all sat here with the same 'huh' look on our faces - there was NO resolution to the story line - we usually get better than that...
