That is very true. They wouldnt have given Harm a very good send off. But IIRC didnt they already have another actor in mind to step inot the Harm role? I think they were going to use the plastic surgery thing. Harm was going to be there. They just had to make the crash bad enough that they survived but could be really injured. Manette great post! I couldn't agree more. If he had a beef with HAE(lets consider that DB makes his bundle also) DB should have made sure that Harm was treated better. All of your points are correct. If DB didn't care about DJE then you would think that he would care about Harm and Harm's fans. I think that the fans care more about the characters than DB does. Guys, remember!!! As you know, I am NOT one for trusting TPTB. I don't. And I think they well screw with us as long as possible on the H&M thing. IF this had been HAE's last ep, quiet possibly, what you saw might NOT have been EXACTLY what you saw. Remember (Kat, correct me if I'm wrong) they film WAY more than is shown in the 'final cut.' So a lot of this could have ended up on the cutting room floor, since by the time the did the edits, they KNEW HAE was on board. I thought I remembered reading somewhere that they film both parts of a cliffhanger at the same time. Maybe not this time because of the RL pregnancy. But who knows, maybe a few scenes were shot that included Harm declaring himself before dying dramatically in Mac's arms. That way we could've had some resolution even if HAE had not come back.
