I couldn't believe that Harm said that to Mac either - though I think he was trying to distract her and make a point at the same time - it was really low of him to do so. (NT) -- Cavewoman - Lu, you've created a menace - can I learn about HTML now????, 01:49:31 10/30/02 Wed

You know many TV and film producers make out something romantic on a rainy scene moment......I remember the classics I guess.LOL! Harm's line was so unearthly and so not him because in "Black Jet"...he was protecting Mac not to punish herself about her mistakes and tonight this came out of nowhere.Although Im giving this ep. a score of 6.....will never watch this again...EVER!!!!!! for other main reasons.....except for AJ,Tiner,Bud,Sturgis...what are they doing with Meredith? (NT) -- Paris.....hoping to renew my shipper hopes this Nov.and beyond, 02:10:58 10/30/02 Wed

I liked this ep. even though it had way too much Bud. AJ was funny...best lines "she isn't a rabbit" and "you cooked, you put out the fire."....LOL. And I LOVED the scene in the hangar. Harm and Mac were serious, and he was philosophical. He looked HOT too. Yes I know he brought up the old indescretion in not so kind a way. But Mac looked pensive..not angry, and I think that she had to think why this was materially different. (NT) -- Cece...and though I guessed early about the lesbianism, I loved the ending. Very clever., 03:06:07 10/30/02 Wed

ITA--I don't think Mac was angry about Harm bringing up Farrow. Pensive is a very good word to describe it. Why bring it up?? Relevance to case--some, relevance to their relationship/friendship--more. I believe they are slowly "having that talk" about everything. Getting it all out in the open, discussing it, and letting it go. (NT) -- CharS--way too much thinking for this early!, 05:13:46 10/30/02 Wed

Well, guys, I can only hope you’re right about them having “that talk.” It would be nice if I could see it that way. Personally, I think they’ve reduced the “chemistry” to an alarmingly low level in recent episodes. They are still friends, obviously, but they don’t seem as “interested” as they used to. Have they lost their “spark,” or is that just me? (NT) -- Dancer, 12:36:02 10/30/02 Wed

Some of the spark is gone--they are getting too comfortable! (NT) -- maybe Mac needs to introduce Harm to BOB--that'll wake him up! . . . .CharS, 21:41:10 10/30/02 Wed

Exactly, Char. It's like they are too settled or else they just don't care. You know? (NT) -- Dancer - "Buzzing? What buzzing? I don't hear anything?", 01:23:57 10/31/02 Thu

I too used to really like the character of Meredith. But lately I have become convinced that Cavanaugh is one of her ex's names. Her family name (and she has a brother) is Osborne. (NT) -- Spud, 08:16:13 10/30/02 Wed

I had no problem with Harm's remark to Mac - I think this scene actually showed how far H/M have come - in the past, there would have been angry sparks flying. His comment about arrogance was his way of agreeing that both of them can be arrogant at times. (NT) -- Lauri, 08:18:25 10/30/02 Wed

I think they had Harm say those things to Mac because.......inside -- Trish, 08:48:58 10/30/02 Wed

Trish, that was my point exactly. Much of starting from the beginning is about being open and honest with one another. If you love someone, you can't walk on eggshells when it comes to honesty. Harm was being open and honest, maybe a touch critical, but it wasn't meant maliciously. I don't think Mac was hurt--she took it for what it was worth and accepted it. If everyone worried about hurting someone's feelings by being honest, no relationship would last. (NT) -- as far as I'm concerned, it's just building blocks--letting go of the past to pave a way to the future . . .CharS, 20:57:19 10/30/02 Wed

I really liked this ep. ITA re the writing - IMHO, it's getting much better. Mac swipes at Harm re "arrogance", Harm reminds Mac of her own "arrogance" in her thought process. Deserved on both accounts. They are both arrogant in their own ways. I also like Manetti - welcome addition, engaging just like Coates. (NT) -- Techie51, 09:17:51 10/30/02 Wed

Oh my LANDS o MERCY!!!!! It's the Shuddering Shipper Skipper!!!.... and she's COHERENT!!!! O.K. If she can get thru an entire episode with ZERO shipperness... SO CAN WE!!!!! This is why she is our Shuddering Shipper LEADER! Well... actually I think ORIGINALLY it was because she shook worse then the rest of us but BE THAT AS IT MAY, our LEADER has RETURNED FROM THE BRINK!!!! WOOOOHHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
