The next ep was more troubling in some ways. I hate it when H&M aren't on the same side. Sigh!!! And I've decided, I don't like Manetti. I think I remember you know who saying she was supposed to be in four eps, I really hope that's all. I don't hate her as much as Singer, she just gets on my nerves. Hopefully, she really is a spy, they find out and AJ tanks her.

Okay, on to the comment about Mac and Farrow. I really, really think Harm was somewhat out of line. He could have made his point in a manner that wasn't designed to be as hurtful, and yes, I think she was hurt, and I think he was throwing a verbal punch.

The situation was different. Mac and Farrow had a CONSENSUAL affair, she was the junior, and there was no sexual harrasement involved. The Commander in this was charged with sexual harrasement, NOT fraternization, conduct unbecoming, or anything else. Well, actually she wasn't charged with anything, it was a hearing, but I digress.

The earlier conversation, about Harm being a chauvanist or not, when Mac says he's arogant, was much more lighthearted. I think Harm was torn, because he knew his client was really guilty of something that could get her discharged, whether he agreed with the policy or not--and though no one has asked, I think it's a crock and completely discriminatory--just not what she was charged with. She'd lied to him, Mac had basically lied to him about Farrow. I think he was frustrated and was lashing out a little. Manetti said that they both had been right, she about the client not being guilty, he about her hiding something. Mac basically was right also when she felt she wasn't getting the truth.

I'm trying very, very hard to keep a PMA about this season, and I know things supposedly had to change because of CB's delicate condition. But these two eps would have been filmed--or at least written--before that was a factor. So where is the whatever it is we were supposed to get???? I mean, they tacitly admitted there was going to be SOMETHING, but at this rate, they'll be ready for Medicare before their next date. And yes, I still say the Tribunal dinner and the 'let me buy you dinner' in DHH were dates!!! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
