Well, it was a very good ep. Had to watch it twice.

Medical stuff:
1. I would like to know where in the he!! was the other OR nurse--there is NEVER only one nurse in with a surgical procedure with anesthesia! This nurse, the circulating nurse, would have called a "code" to get additional assistance, another doc, ANYTHING!

2. NO anesthesiologist rattles off the vital signs continually to the surgeon except in a trauma situtation. A thyroglossal duct cyst (which is what this girl was having removed--a bengin condition!!!) is NOT a trauma situation!

3. OK, the joke telling is real--but most of us can walk an chew gum at the same time, including the anesthesia dept.! It didn't seem like she (anesthesia) could multitask at ALL!

4. The blame department--in a "code" there isn't time for finger pointing. You do what it takes to save your patient--neither one did what they could--it was the worst run code in an OR setting I have ever seen! The whole OR should have been held liable--but then again, its TV!

5. The medication error--yes, it can and does happen--albiet rarely. Covering it up? That was pure stupidity on her part!

I have opinions on the Harm/Singer/Sergei baby crap, but I'll save those for later!
