Date Posted: 20:16:52 06/17/02 Mon  Jasmine walked to Miss C.'s pasture and hooked a lead rope to her engraved leather halter.Today,Jasmine was going to jump Miss Congenaility over a 3'6 to 4 foot course.She brought Miss C. inside and hooked her to the crossties.Then she walked to the tack room and got a grooming box with grooming tools in it,a youths jumping saddle,a jumping bridle,her helmet,and a brand new pair of tan suede chaps with dark brown piping.She groomed and tacked up the pretty bay Holsteiner mare and led her to the outdoor jumping arena.Jasmine then mounted MissC. and warmed her up at a walk,trot and canter in both directions.She started doing some half-passes with Miss C. while she waited for her mom,Dana to come out.Dana soon walked over to the outdoor arena and told Jasmine "Okay,do a courtesy circle at a good speed and head towards the first jump in the course.You know the course already but you have never jumped a warmblood at this height before". Jasmine did a courtesy circle with Miss C. and headed her toward the first jump.Mis C. flew over the jump and Jasmine stayed in a perfect 2-point over the 3'9 coop.She steered Miss C. to the next jumps in the course which were a 4 foot fake brick wall,a 3'6 oxer,a triple,a large rollback and a water jump.At the last jump,Jasmine asked for more speed and Miss C. flew over the 4 foot wishing well jump.Jasmine slowed Miss C. down to a halt.Dana said "good job!!Now lets try another course and we can end your lesson here because Miss C. hasn'tjumped in a while and I don't want her getting to tired.Miss C. did the next course with the ease of a experienced jumper(which she was)and then Jasmine walked her out,untacked her,and turned her back out in the pasture.Afterward, Dana came up to her and said "great job jumping Miss C.!next lesson were going to work on dressage with Firefly,okay". Jasmine replied "alright,but after my lesson with Firefly can I have another lesson jumping Miss C."? "OK". said Dana,and then Dana went to do some bills and Jasmine did some barn chores.
