Subject: Introduction

Ahem. To begin, I'll clear a few things up. I am Jona Lee, known as "Torus Firewalker" or simply "Fire" in Furcadia where I once produced the "Freelands" project, and "Vigilante" in SMT MUCK, where I.. had a detatchable arm with an attitude problem.. Beyond that, I'm also the origionator of this project idea, and if that somehow causes an issue, you are now aware of it.

What exactly is this project?

Simply put, I'm hoping we can produce a free, fun, and fantastic furry game for the purpose of Roleplaying online. The current plan is to use wireframes similar to those found in Doom, Tomb Raider, and so on to produce a 3D world. The software that's currently planned for use is Visual C++, as well as DirectX and possibly other programs as this develops. Currently, the focus will be on placing a character in an environment, and allowing for MU*-like text functions, such as shouting etc, based on physical location. Later functions, such as object use, combat, etc, will be a secondary consideration. For this project, we'll need a wide range of talents, including artists, lingusts, programmers, writers, level-makers, experianced gamers, and perhaps even marketers and HTML experts, and so forth. My email is lee_jona@hotmail.com if it proves useful, and I'd appreciate as much help on this project as possible. For those of SMT MUCK, I'd like to note that Chester has already signed on as something of a bookkeeper for information, proving the range of useful functions to be vast. Thank you, and be free.
