Gameplay design... basically the idea is who's going to decide what variables are needed, and what view to aim for (We're currently hoping like hell we can get it so you can choose between views). That's what I meant by gameplay. In an actual business, the programmers just put an algorythm into code after the designers make it up. This, of course, won't be quite as demanding, but we've still got the basic idea there. The designers are the ones who -ask- 'could you make so and so race, and remember, no gunpowder' or 'couldja make them run with a bit wider a stride'. Stuff like that.

(-everyone- will have a voice in the conception, having a design group is merely to prevent having to get all those people to vote on something, and waiting MONTHS to get a reply, thanks to ICQ's being a dunce, RL issues, and people who forget their email password.)

(Leaders only in the sense that they 'negotiate' between groups, especially when there's personal conflicts involved. As for 'working', they'd also end up being 'cleanup' and replacement crew. This, obviously, would be where I would be situated, as I have the general concept in my head, and I have information and experiance in all the other areas, including a hint of programming.)

(Fully understandable. Its like the education system. Seniourity and senility over skill and energy. You'll find I try and spread the influence to everyone, not just pockets of people, if that's what you were worried with.)

(Hrmn, well, what I'm seeing is that it would be a little harder to vary the cultures... also its alot to place on a single person--thus why I noted possible groups of races sey into cultural groups.)

(Pretty much those who've posted on this board... and only to that degree mostly..)
