At the appearance of Sulton, One for Sorrow narrowed her brows and snorted disapprovingly. She remained silent to hear out Sulton before she made any sort of move, however, she couldn't help but feel something was wrong about this. Either Sulton was using the humans to his advantage or he really was showing care for Desert Rose, which was unlikely by what Sorrow had heard about him and what she had seen. Her suspicions grew when Sulton attempted to push her over a bit. That was enough for her to stamp her hooves and turn her bold, bay head in Sulton's direction and snort, then turn back to Rose, who looked too confused for her own good.
Sorrow decided to step in and try to help,
"Rose, listen to me. Sulton is trying to trick you into going with him. You're already apart of a harem, Rose, and the lead mare at that. You have a caring, handsome stallion already, too, much more kindly and good-looking than this one here, Sulton." she said his name with disgust and even shifted her head toward him, "And this is no time to be asking mares to join single stallions now, not with the humans running all about. You're up to something, Sulton. You can't fool me."
She glared at him and stood tall, not one bit afraid of him.
