..... I am reminded of what I have been reading about Near-Death Experiences (NDEs). We are not our bodies, but only live in them, usually for many years; then, at "the end", move via a tunnel towards a bright light, interpreted by the religion of the person concerned, such as being God, or Spirit or [whatever]. But nothing about an "Eternal Flame". [Caution! Don't get burned! LAUGHS]
