Subject: Action News 18 Update

(Action News cuts into a re-run of the Simpsons with a special report. Gretchen is at her desk with some papers sloppily scattered about. She's very serious, almost frightened.)

-Gretchen: Hello, we'll get back to your regularly scheduled programming after this update on a story we brought to you Thursday night...... (turns to another camera) Saturday on a wrestling show called "WCWL" many fans, and wrestlers alike, were stunned when the lights suddenly went out and various barnyard animals, seemingly in pain, could be heard. When the lights were turned back on, a pig had been slaughtered and some people have claimed that in blood read the words "Fear the Voodoo." For you now we have a security officer from the event to give a personal account of the incident..........

(A man in yellow "security" T-shirt is sitting beside her)

-Man: Here's what I remember seeing...... The lights went out and I became alert like any good officer would be. I was very near the ring and could see three men dragging a pig to the ring. Then another man in a suit and top hat lifted a knife and plunged it deep into the hog's belly. I wanted to jump the railing and stop him, but through the pitch black arena my eyes met his yellow glowing gaze. It was as if he read my mind and knew how to stop me. All I can remember from that point on is his stare and a strange sound of beating drums implanted in my head...... And I....I... I can't talk about it anymore!

(The guard rushes out after reliving these dasterdly events.)

-Gretchen: (staring into the camera) I don't know what else to say, except that we must do something about this madness. Who knows the human life that this man or men will put in danger? I suggest all our viewers be on the look-out for him............ Good night and back to your regular programming.

(Action News 18 special report flashes on the screen again and the show goes off the air.)
