• Angel smirked a touch and glanced over at him, arhcing a finely shaped brow a touch in a dubious expression. She loved how he looked with both baby and stroller, but she knew he felt self conscious "He's laughing with you baby, not at you." She was feeling slightly better about the whole birth mother thing... though she wasn;t pressing the adoption as much as she had been- in all honesty she was just waiting for all this to come crashing down. She'd never been an insecure person... but she had nightmares about Vin leaving her and taking Christian and going back to the mother of his child... that was something she could never be- not really. The longer she left it the harder it was getting to tell him... but she just didn;t know how. She shifted the baby in her arms a little and glanced down at him, a smile touching her lips as she caught the little boy gazing up at her adoringly. It almost broke her heart sometimes. "What next?" • "Anything you want, darlin'" They had already started getting all the decorations and things like that and they would work on the tree and decorating their home when they got there later. "How about we hit up the toy store? Not like he doesn't already have enough toys but there might be something cool." he smiled a little, reaching over to tickle his son playfully before he offered to take him from Angel. • She gratefully handed the baby over to him and took the stroller instead. She looked pretty tiny next to Vin, being all of 5'3, but they still made a perfect pair, even with her Latina looks and his blonde hair, blue eyed appearence- allbeit a beefed up version. • "I am not sure, she was trying to get some things set up for school and whatnot so she's keeping pretty busy." He grinned, bouncing the baby in his arms before he paused. "Alright, spoiled grump,your going into the stroller." Earlier, Christian had thrown a fit when he had tried to put him into the stroller but he had to get used to it - he couldn't be getting his way all the time. She smirked softly and carried on pushing the stroller , arching her brow dubiously... buying something for both of them was a big commitment step, and it frightened her a touch... but more because it made her secret even worse to be keeping from him than anything else. • "I was thinking of a house." He stated casually but he was super serious about it. He wanted Christian to have a yard to play in, to have room to get a dog, maybe a couple of dogs. He wanted a big kitchen for her to learn to cook in and a huge master bedroom for them to sleep in at night.   • Well, he definately had no idea what the hell had just happened there and he looked a little lost as he stood there with the bags and the stroller, Christian sleeping without having any of idea of the confusion of his daddy. He frowned a little, running a hand over his head before he headed out to the car, putting away the packages they already had before he went back in, finally finding her at the food court.   • She glanced up at him and drew a soft breath, before exhaling softly and setting her jaw, lowering her gaze. "I can;t give you what you want Vin." She offered no apology- just the simple truth. "You want a big house? You want a big family... I can;t give you that... I can't have children." That was the first time she had ever admitted that sentence out loud, and it stuck in her throat and broke her heart. She had never thought it would matter to her- she had never thought she would want them... but she'd finally found the person that she wanted all that with... and she couldn't do it. It just didn't seem to him to be possible, that with all the technological advances that they couldn't fix whatever was wrong so that she could have children of her own. • She couldn;t bring herself to look at either Vin or Christian... a stray glance at either one and she;d be in floods of tears... and she never cried. She swallowed back and drew a deep breath, fixing her dark gaze on the table top, staring into her untouched coffee before she finally spoke. "Fallon got me pregnant when I was seventeen... he told me to get rid of it so I got an abortion... There were some complications or something... some scarred tissue in my womb that they told me would prevent me becoming pregnant in the future" She pursed her lips softly and eventually let her gaze flicker upto him, trying to read his reaction. • His jaw set at that as he took in that information, swallowing heavily for a second. She was right, he did want more children. Who would have thought that bad ass Vin would want a large family, would want the sound of babies crying and little feet running across hard wood floors to fill his life but that was what he wanted. His eyes went down to Christian and then back to Angel. After a few seconds he knew though that there was no one else he would want to carry his children but her...he couldn't be with anyone else and have them raise his kids. "So we'll adopt." "I am not going to tell you that I wouldn't rather be able to have our own children that we made together, Angel, that would be lying and I am not going to do that." I also know that I couldn't be with anyone but you baby, not ever, not after all this...after I realized how much I love you, need you.." He shook his head. • Her brow furrowed softly at his tender honesty, locking her fingers with his in a gentle squeeze. She swallowed softly and lowered her gaze to the baby she had come to love as her own. She regretted more than anything that she couldn't give him what he really wanted. "We could still make our babies vin... I just wouldnt be able to carry them." • He pursed his lips at that, thinking it over before he just smiled at her. "Right now we have a little man there thats demanding the most of our attention." He stated honestly, watching her. "We can decide what we want to do later, maybe look into some options and get better educated, get a second opinion on you too. We don't have to rush this." He stated with a smile, watching her carefully. He would be content for now just getting a house for them and having her be a stay at home mom for Christian.
