• (He was in a good mood himself, Ayden had actually slept through the night and he was well rested. His shift had ended early since he had finished the work he had scheduled to do, so he was looking for something to entertain himself. Leaning against the door of his truck, he could only think of Skye, so he pulled out his cell and called her. Idly he chewed on his lower lip, hoping she wasn't too busy to fit him in.. he tended to do nothing when he was bored.. and he didn't want to do nothing.. at least not by himself. "Well, though icecream is distracting us, we have decided you can join us at the mall for now, we are shopping." • (He rolled his eyes.. shopping? Well,he would take what he could get.) The mall it is, my dear. (He said and got the information from her before he hung up. As he started the truck, Ayden yawned and opened his eyes, looking over at Niko and smiling when his Dad tugged on his foot.) You better wake up little man.. we got some shopping to do. (He said with a smile as he pulled out of Raleigh's Garage and headed over to the mall. They weren't too hard to find, since he knew the mall pretty well, and two beautiul blonde women were usually top on a man's rader. Ayden was sitting on his arm, looking around at all the lights in the food court with bright green eyes. Setting down the baby carrier, he affectionately ran his hand over Sam's hair and leaned down to kiss Skye's forehead.) Hello ladies.. • Sam looked up as the man touched her but then relaxed when she saw who it was. A smile touched her pretty features as she looked at him and then the baby. "The baby can go shopping too! I bet he likes clothes, not as much as me, but I bet he does!" Skye grinned, this was definately her child. Her head cocked to the side before she leaned over to place a soft, tender kiss to Niko's cheek, gazing into his eyes for a second as if just to make sure he was doing ok that day before she seemed satisfied and promptly took the baby away from him, coo'ing to him playfully before she looked to Sam. • (He was doing very well that day, much better now that he was with her. The women were a distraction for him, a welcome reminder that life was good. Reaching over, he gathered the girls longish hair and twisted a tiny knot into it so it stayed back. Smirking at her, he shook his head a little.) Ayden likes clothes, but mostly just for spitting up on. (He said, making a face.. the kid liked to regurgutate at times, so Niko always carried spares. He nodded to Skye and Ayden conspiratorily.) • "Ewwww.." She made a face, finishing off her icecream before she thought that over for a second. "but then mommy can get knew clothes too!" Skye grinned, shaking her head as she shifted Ayden - who was currently grinning and talking back to her in little baby language - in her arms a touch. "Don't worry baby, mommy is definately getting new clothes too." She winked lightly, before she looked to Niko. "Retail therapy is a wonderful things." She grinned before she stood up, smiling at the woman who came to clean up the table - the way she looked at them she obviously though them to be the perfect little family. • Skye's mouth dropped open, her brow furrowed before she looked down at her clothes. "My clothes are perfectly acceptable!" The tee complimented her curves and showed off a line of tan midriff and brown cowboy boots accented the outfit. She huffed again, shaking her head. "Your the one in need of a makeover..." She stated, pointing a finger at him. "Your letting yourself go." She grinned, laughing outloud when Sam slipped her hand into his and nodded. "Yeah, we should give you a makeover!" She grinned at the idea before she shook her head. "You should tell mommy she looks pretty, Uncle Niko." Skye smiled at the 'Uncle Niko' part. Sam had come up with that on her own. "Yep, yep, I do believe thats a perfect set of abs." She grinned, tugging her shirt back down as she continued walking towards the limited too. Her face was just inches from his as she spoke. "He's going to fall asleep soon..." She murmured, careful not to jostle the baby or disturb him in any way. Her eyes met his for a long moment, biting her lip before she trailed her hand off his arm. Skye looked back to Niko and Ayden, tipping her head to the side as she watched them for a second. "Would you and Ayden like to have dinner with us tonight?" • She bit her lip a little at that. She felt bad that she hadn't been able to make her marriage work for Sam's sake -she deserved a real family with a mom and dad who were always there for her. It wasn't her fault Skye had gotten herself into something that wasn't right for her. She smiled a little but the smile turned sweeter as Sam beamed, running forward to hug Niko around the legs enthusiastically before she headed into the dressing room to change into another set of clothes. Skye sighed softly, taking a step to Niko and looking up at him. Her hand came up, tipping his chin down with two fingers so she could brush a kiss to the corner of his lips, drawing back just an inch to murmur. "Thank you..for making her feel special.." She stated softly, opening her mouth to say something else but closing it as Sam ran out with all the clothes - happiness shining in the little girls eyes. Skye cast a long look at Niko before she looked back down to the little girl, agreeing with her exclamations of excitement and herding her over to the register to pay. She shook her head, shrugging her shoulders a little. "Nope, haven't seen her, just seen all these great clothes and a very sweet man who seems to be fond of girls shoes..." She grinned, shifting Ayden to her other arm. No wonder Niko had such impressive biceps, the boy was heavy after awhile. She grinned, pulling out her credit card and handing it over. She questioned, cocking a brow a little as she smiled, taking in his apperance. He looked good, there was no doubt about that but she could definately have some fun playing dress up with him. The words were issued in somewhat of a challenge, a lighthearted smile playing on her face. Sam was looking at all the stores that they went by, listening to the adults talk. She made faces at the baby, causing him to laugh and completely entertaining myself. She was such a good girl, so easy to please and generally very happy. "Here, try these on." She grinned sweetly, reaching up to press a kiss to his cheek as she took the baby away from him, nodding towards the dressing room. "Show me how they look."
