Thankyou for your post - I am an audio professional totally opposed to copy protection, and neither me nor any of my colleagues and friends have bought a copy of the CD because it is protected. At the last count, the record company have lost 17 sales from us, and apart from the very dubious ethics involved in 'nobbling' a CD, I actually cannot play it in my computer-based setup. I could go on and on about downloading not harming CD sales and the various surveys that prove this, but I will limit myself to trying to get everybody to complain to the record company - remember it is not illegal in the slightest to rip your CD to your iPod. On that note, does anyone know an email address of the record company concerned that I could complain to?
