I can write an essay about this war...but to sum up my feelings - I think the first person who should be kicked out is Bush. He is the real dangerous man. America and The world will be a turmoil because of his regime. "Make no mistakes about it!" Why waste so much money and lives trying to remove a dictatorate regime THE WRONG WAY. This is an illegal unprovoked war and because Bush is using violence to resolve violence, the west will reap what he sows in the next generation...shame on the cowboy.

The Brits and the yanks are beginning to quarrel over construction contracts "for the Iraqi" after the war.

You are right about their next generation. They will never feel save again.

Don't you guys noticed that Bush has been self-elevated to a status slightly above the almighty Ala (or Alah) ? He said he will be building a new order in the Middle East and therefore the world ---- something that even Alah was not extremely successful at.

If you read Bush's background and study a bit about American politics you will discover that part of Bush's believes came from a doctrine called the Zionist. Zionists are people from kind of a southern conservative christian doctrine that no matter how much the cost is, Israel has to be protected and preserved. US's middle-east policy has always been lopsided: to elevate the Jews and destroy the Palestinians. To assist Israel and turn a blind eye to the Palestinians. In fact, most of the money for the US government are from very wealthy Jews/Jewish business communities and thus they have a lot of sayings and powers. The present government is especially dangerous. For instance, Cherney was previously an executive of a Texan oil company and also many high ranking officials are left over from the Senior Bush era. Thet have vowed to destroy Iraq long before Bush Jr. became president. The other group of people who voted for Bush are mainly from the mid-west, these are the typical lowly educated people. To stereotype them these are the farmers/peasants who wave American flags, drive beat up trucks, cannot identify where USA is on the map and live on a healthy diet of hamburgers and 'freedom' fries!!! So, watch on, scene 1 of the drama has just started, there are more spectacular episodes coming ahead such as suicide bombers in the US soil and perhaps assination attempts of the president, the blown up of the Statue of Liberty and more...

We Chinese people are very quiet when it comes to political issues and debates. This is what I have observed over the last many years. We mind more about our own wellfares and mind no other businesses. This was clearly reflected in our recent election in the Vancouver area - many Chinese just couldn't be bothered to go to vote and then they mourned about the outcome of who got elected!!! I am not a political person but speaking from the humanity side, we need to stand up and voice what we believe. Another example was when I was working at the Manulife oriental office with a bunch of Hong Kong immigrant agents, I was the only one who recycled paper. All the others just threw their paper straight in the rubbish bin (even though there was a recycling bin) without even thinking of the precious forrest and our next generation. They laughed at me when I encouraged them to recycle paper and they only thought about how the make more commissions. We are guardians of our world and everyone should have our responsibilities living in this world. Putting aside religions and beliefs, our Jesuit upbring from Wah Yan teaches us to serve and care and to be humble - there were many living examples to say the least. I invite more to talk about this war whether you are pro or against.

you know what? i just moved to hong kong from america and i've realized something. not only are asians indifferent about politics and take practically NO action on their beliefs, we also have NOT DONE ANYTHING about the ENVIRONMENT! YOU GUYS! WAKE UP! THIS IS ALL ONE WORLD WE'RE LIVING IN AND WE HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF IT. there is a war going on already that everyone's battling. animals are being endangered AND extinct! in ONE generation, GORRILLAS will be extinct if we keep living this way. READ BOOKS, the most important thing is, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. i'm looking so hard for a recycling area, and it is so hard to find in hong kong! in america, i walk down the street and there is one! please, do something if you believe in it.
