This goes back aways, but in 1963, we beat Hudson on T'day to win the Class C State Championship. The year before, 1962, Hudson beat us to win the Class C State Championship. Marlboro and Hudson have one of the oldest rivalries in the state. I think they are playing the 100th game this year. If it's not that, it's either 98th or 99th. There were a few years where they played twice a year, but very few years. Marlboro, because of the size of the town and bigger high school has, over the years, usually been the favorite in the game, but as any Marlboro-Hudson fan knows, the records go out the window. The underdogs, whether Hudson or Marlboro have won too many times to count, so along with some of the other rivalries in CMass that are some of the longest in the state, the Marlboro-Hudson game ranks right up there. And, CMass fans, Thanksgiving day football games are pretty much a New England tradition. Other parts of the country don't play on Thanksgiving. I tell people from out of state that the games start at 10AM and they can't believe that we'd go to a football game in the morning and then have a turkey dinner right after the game. Thanksgiving football is something special here in Massachusetts.

I think just about everyone will agree, Leominster vs. Fitchburg is thebest TurkeyDay game year in and out. they have been playing eachother for over 100 years and i think fitchburg has 2 or 3 more wins. LHS vs. FHS has the most tradition than anyother game in the state.

LHS vs. FHS: the real superbowl

I think Boston Latin and Boston English is the longest rivalry. They have been paying each other since 1886.

To me its the biggest rivalry and most historic and most traditional rivalry in cmass, every year no matter what the records are the rivalry is always intense always infront of huge crowds...this year is the 99th meeting..and it has from what i understand super bowl implications for Hudson a win could put hudson in the super bowl according to what i been told because ive heard they use the old ranking system to decide the 4 way tie for the D3 title(assuming west boylston, clinton and gansett all win on tday) a win for Hudson over D1 oppenent will put them higher than the other 3 teams who are all playin d3 opponents...next year its the centenial game and these 2 schools will play every year on turkey until the end of time...it wouldnt be t-day unless marlboro and hudson play

Clinton played 2 division 1 teams this year and won both games. Narragansett controlled their own destiny until they let Hudson spank them last friday night, but if 'gansett beats Murdock and Clinton loses to Maynard, Hudson goes to the bowl.

division three is all screwed up. naragansett should be goin to the super bow lbecause they hav'nt been there in like 10 years. atleast they can choose who they want to go if it is hudson or clinton.
