There was a reason women lived in the convent and men were out fighting. In America, these vestigial were dealt with by clearly defined roles within the family. But now, everything is turned upside down and women are only feminists when it suits them. "Give your baby a stable, peaceful home to live in. You won't regret it." She'll have that no matter what. Things will go back to normal (with me in charge) once the baby is born. But if this was a power-play...the old lady's gonna lose make-up privileges for one year.
