The prognosis for Wobbler's is grim. Some people claim improvement with the gold bead therapy, I have no personal experience with that. The surgical options are extemely invasive, and in the particular BB type of Wobbler's which may involve malformation of the vertebral facets, are probably not curable with surgery. I did a lot of research into this disease, as we had early indications that my boy may have it. It is impossible to diagnose without MRI's and even then if it is a dynamic form it may not show up. Right now, he has shown no further symptoms, and I have my fingers crossed.
