No, the dog does not show any lameness whatsoever. Could this be just due to age and working history? I have x rays from when he was a few months shy of two and they are very different. He has been involved with weight pull pretty extensively starting at 18 months. He still pulls and shows no problems in either joint at all. I am trying to retrieve higher resolution copies of his older x rays and if my email issue resolves itself I will post those.

Could it be improved with better positioning? I did notice that the legs are not exactly straight in the x rays as if the hips were not held in the right position during the scan. I would imagine given his size it would be a bit difficult to get his legs into proper position using his lower legs as the only supports. I did read that the position can affect x ray results.

Opinions?
