Hello,
I have an extremely sweet and handsome 6 month old puppy-Wimpie that we purchased month and a half ago from SA. Wimpie had a "stiff" walk and we had it evaluated by our vet and yesterday checked by an orthopedic surgeon in Manassas, Virginia. Unfortunately Wimpie has a genetic condition in his elbows that requires surgery. We were quoted $3000 for both legs. We had one of our dogs die of osteosarcoma last year, and other undergo urgent surgery earlier this year and this expense is more than we can cover. I really would love to find someone that would like to adopt him if they were able to cover the surgery. He is a fantastic dog that could be a joy for someone for many years. (we noticed symptoms before arthritis set in)
