Subject: Boerboels and bobcats

Does anyone have any experience with Boerboels and bobcats? I heard earlier this week (and saw the cellphone picture) of 2 bobcats that were killed by a hunter on some property that's about 1-2 miles away from our house. One of the bobcats was pretty large, the hunter also killed 3 coyotes on the same property this hunting season.
I have 2 boerboels, 1 male, 1 female and am confident they could handle themselves, but was wondering if anyone has some real life experience with these critters.
I've heard stories of hunters in the area running into bobcats over the years but never had proof they were actually this close to our home.
It was a little scary to hear, as my son and I love to walk around in the woods behind our house. Our property runs down into a deep holler (hollow) on the backside and there's tons of caves and a big stream down there. Good place for lots of things behind us as there's about 1,000 + acres nobody lives on (not ours :) with lots of water sources, caves, hills and "hollers", etc.
Thanks so much for your input!
