David I agree. We train em to immobilize the threat. Personally I don't have the time or the inclination to sustain an in depth breeding program. I choose to spend my time training and conditioning dogs a talented breeder produced and chose for according to my critria. Sport is great and my hats off to the folks who do well with it. It's also loaded to the gills with ego's, attitudes, opinions, infighting and dog politics. Molloser breeds aren't put together for most of the bite sports. They are great companions in close combat working dogs. A draft horse hasn't made the triple crown and that nice thouroughbred hates the plow, wagon and winds out to quick.
