Hey Raymond, How you been? Did not recognize the RW...been off the boards too long I guess. (probably not long enough for some:)

Not all sport is created equal, not all handlers are as talented as others, I appreciate your skills...you will have to decide if sport alone can tell you what you need to know about Boerboels...I say it won't. The fact that I tried to give you this dog Bruiser says a lot about what I think of you, and should suffice to prove I have no grudge against sport people. I have supplied several dogs to working sport handlers at NO cost to promote a WORKING BOERBOEL. This is a working breed, this is a protection dog, this is a versatile utility farm-dog...all aspects need to be emphasized and actively bred for.
I DO make the case that MANY are not qualified to become Boerboel breeders simply because they want to re-shape the breed to reflect their ideals...only because their typical ideals involve less emphasis on steady, reliable, family companion/protection dogs...the highest calling for a Boerboel. Raymond, will you let your sport dog lay on the floor with your new baby...would you advise others they should?

High regards,
David and family
