David, you know I have great respect for you and you're breeding program. Anytime I have a conversation with someone about good breeders of WORKING Boerboel's your name is the only one I ever mention. To answer your question, I could only speak for my dog Buddy and he has laid on the floor with my son on several occasion, (sometimes my son laid on top of him) but I don't consider him a sport dog. I would never advise anyone to allow there dogs to lay with their children, what I do with my dog may not be a good idea for their particular situation. Although I don't consider Buddy a breeding dog he is good enough for what I'm doing. I'm not a Suhutzhund competitor but I do enjoy the sport and it gives Buddy something to do other than eating & crapping. I've always hoped that we could developed sort of activity for Boerboels that one may use as an additional tool for testing their temperament. I would love to see if my dog could move cattle like Bruiser but that would be risking his life and he's my only dog, so what does a guy like me in this situation do to test his Boerboel and see if it has the quality a good BB should have and it be recognized and respected by all in the Boerboel community.
