Yes, I did introduce this guy to a rescue who had a dog on death row, and yes, I did know him from an IT contract and have discussed Boerboels (he is, I believe, the person who introduced me to the breed years ago, but I'm not sure on that) so yes he was "involved" with me -- but it would be polite of you to make a public clarification here ASAP for the implication of my "involvement" in anything shady or illegal. Share your evidence so we can all understand what I have done wrong.

It's just so unfair after all the shit I've put up, all the calls and all the work, to get thrown under a bus here without you even having the bloody courtesy to send me an email to point out that you're doing a drive by mudslinging of me here.

If you look carefully at what I have done, I do indeed 'work in rescue' but all I do is offer free information of dogs in urgent need and work my ass off to try to get people to be responsible for dogs they breed -- all in my "spare time". I don't accept dogs or ever check out homes, I just offer free info and connect people via email who have dogs and explicitly tell them to carefully check the homes out before letting them go.

I don't have time for that. I have hundreds of contacts a year from people who are adopting out or in, some obviously bad people, looking for dog fight dogs, etc. lots of characters that I filter out, some I don't because if the dog is aggressive, etc. I know that it's a choice between death or life. It's a fine line. I don't like walking it, but what else can you do? It's the life of typically a good dog in a bad situation.

I don't see a lot of other people doing SFA (with a few very notable exceptions) so I don't think I deserve this just for trying to help. It's absolutely no wonder no-one does any real rescue work, the amount of politics and slander involved is just fucking intolerable.

Please respond, and do quote any emails or whatever you have proving my "involvement" in any illegal stuff, and I'll be oh-so-happy to respond. If you lost those emails or are just extrapolating because I happen to know this person, please take a moment to consider the lives and families of those you are slandering out here and respond as such.
