Jenny, thanks for your stepping in here, I can see the benefit of bringing in unregistered Boerboels 'from the cold', that is surely a good idea...it worked for the first Boeboels after all, it should still be a viable method. I don't see the registries throwing open the door for individual breeders to make whatever out-crosses they see fit, but Lee has some ideas to ponder...most of all, the honest and open exchange of ideas and breeding information available to all...I like full disclosure and I think anyone selecting what they think is a Boerboel pup should be assured they are not getting the results of some half-hearted or half-a***d attempt by a breeder to 'improve' the breed by the addition of whatever.
