Have to agree with Robin and rayna here. if you saw a pic of that male out of context and were asked what breed it was, neo IS the first that comes to mind. It is also true in the BB world that many are breeding for huge heads and fronts and not a balanced dog. That has been getting progressively worse over the last few years. no one brought up the breeder but you and I didn't read that they were disparaging any one person period. My personal opinion is that MOST black"boerboels" that I have seen are poor likenesses of the breed and rather look like big black labs.JMO
