Subject: Boerboels and dander???

My nephew has really admired my Boerboel male since I got him 4 years ago & has been really studying up on them as we all have done when first learning about them before buying one. He asked me tonight & I thought I would ask here. He wants to know if Boerboels, because of their short haired coats, get very dry skin and have any dander, like dandruff flakes, falling off them? I told him mine does not, but I did not know if anyones else's Boerboel does. They say the shorter haired dogs can get the dander. His concern is that his son has asthma and the flakes can cause a reaction sometimes. Anyone? Thanks.
