I personally don't have any issues with that and i have allergies really bad. Byeboer got really bad flaky skin for a while and we couldn't figure out why. Then later found out he was sick and it was affecting his skin along with other things.

I'd make sure that you speak to a breeder that your wanting to get your next dog from and ask if they have ever had issues with dry skin.

There are alot of environmental factors to consider as well. Don't bathe them all the time and a good healthy diet will prevent alot of it.
