Subject: Which puppy food?

Hello everyone. I have a question. I am getting my first boerboel puppy in just a few weeks and I have been searching and searching for the right food to feed her. I want her to have the best possible food I can give her so she grows up healthy and strong. I have researched for a few months now and it seems there are so many good foods out there and I am not sure which to go with and I am not sure which foods to rotate with.

I guess my question is this, is it better for a boerboel pup to be on a grain-free diet or not, or does it not matter? Is it better for a boerboel pup to be on a specific Large breed puppy formula, or an all-life stages formula? I have spoken to vets and they all seem to just say the same thing: "Science Diet is what I'd recommend." But I don't want to feed my pup a food with corn, wheat, soy or by-products in it and the #1 ingridient in science diet large breed puppy is whole grain corn, then chicken by-product meal, and so on. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
