I am sorry you misunderstood my post. I was not comparing the two activities. You stated earlier that it could take all day to get to the destination before you even started to cut cattle. Isn't this what you said? I replied that if a slow straight pace at 5 - 8 mph, and it took you ALL day to get to your destination before you could even start to cut cattle, then your destinations are 8 mph x 12 hours daylight apart = 96 miles apart. Even using an 8-hour day to get to your destination, 8 mph x 8 hours = 64 miles apart.
