Subject: This weekend Author: Greg [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 05:51:37 12/19/02 Thu Hey gents, Jay and I are goin down Friday afternnon huntin Sat, maybe Sunday We saw the deeks on th corner could stand to be rearanged, we talked agreed a J type set up with the hook being the southern most are providing an into a/the Southerly wind landing. Presently the deeks are arranged in a circular format with a hole for a LZ that kinda is sending the birds to the other side of the tank. agree/disagree, want us to leave it alone, thoughts? any other ares need special attention, we should have some time to work. We went down for a short while Wednesday, coordinated with Heath so that we didnt hunt multiple weekdays, There were more birds moviin than I have seen there, mainly Teal and gads but saw a few Malls and geese, had three bigger, (ie.10-20) groups work us, took 3 teal and 1 gad for the group before we left at 9:00, If ya drive in the bottom field be careful, there are wet areas in the field crossing, we parked halfway and hiked in. lookin foward to a good hunt this weekend. The birds on wednesday were wantong to work between the two blinds and towards the corner to land, this was directly due to the wind but I am assuming a southerly wind will prevale this weekend [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
