How much does an average roof weigh (in psf)??

Roofing materials are rated at a per sq weight and a sq is 100 sq feet.
Most roofing materials weight are anywhere between 200lbs per sq to 500lbs or more depending on the product you are installing. Most 30yr laminate compositions run about 250lbs per sq. Most metal products are the lightest roofs though. They can be substantially less then 200lbs per sq.
