I'm sorry Scott. There are no preset angles for these. Each building holds its own dimensions and angles. I started writing ways to find some of your angles but after what must have been two pages I know I would have lost any laymen. I kept on wanting to rephrase what I was saying because I don't think anyone could understand. I just finished rebuilding some walls and roof trusses on a job where a homeowner had screwed up everything. It was all stick framed. I had a friend that was working with me and he had a hard time figuring what I was doing but was certainly impressed when we took the boards over to install them and kept coming up with perfect fits. If he couldn't comprehend what I was doing watching me I don't think you'll get it off this forum. Remember, I've been in construction since I was 18 and I am now 35. These things come easy to me.

I'm sorry I can't help you but you will have to FIND your angles and I'm not willing to write a book on how to do this. I learned most of what I know in geometry in high school. If you can recall some of this stuff it will go a long way to helping you.
I was lucky enough to start using it right out of high school so I didn't lose it.

Best of luck with your project.
A Roofer

If you are still involved in this project, go to www.sherribell.com and the plans you need (with the angles) can be downloaded.
I'm building a 12'x16' right now.
