Subject: What to do if you are cheated by a roofer

13 months ago we paid 1900.00 to have our roof reroofed. We were told it would be as good as new. When it rained so hard about three weeks ago the rain came pouring into my house.I called the roofer and they said my warrenty had lapsed. In fact I didn't have a warrenty because I had never had a final inspection done. Is there someone who holds roofers accountable and real estate agents accountable. I am now stuck with a roof that leaks. Any help would be appreciated. Mary

Was he licensed, bonded, and insured? Makes a big difference.
