Destiny was an insult to many people, who value academic achievements and REAL platform. But at least Destiny had an original talent! This year's winner is a joke! Yes, she is pretty, but she didn't stand out, IMO, and I was a neutral observer, who used to compete at another state many years ago.

The Miss is beautiful, but little platform work, her talent is not National level, nor were her onstage answers. Other girls were beautiful, too, and they had made more strides in their platform, and had incredible talent!
The Teen was not a great choice. Yes, she's talented, but she is overshadowed in all other categories. Any other girl in top 5 would've represented MD better at Nationals. .
