Adrian simply nods, then calmly walks down the hallway, leading the procession of soldiers, and Dith, as well. Soon, he arrives at the closet, motioning to Milandra to un-seal the door.

"Milandra, let us handle this, now."

He draws his pistol, loading in the only clip of ammunition he has, pulling the loader back. He waist for Milandra to unseal the door, then calmly grips the handle, lowering his gun towarsd the ground, pulling the door open. His brow dribbles with sweat as light pours in on the decaying form of hte boy, his chest burst outwards, and the horseshoe crab-like creature dead beside him. He looks around, then blinks.

"...Where are you, little bastard..."

As if on cue, a small, screaming, snake-like creature jumps out, springing from behind a box. Adrian falls backwards, blasting a few shots into the closet, none o them striking the Chestburster. The creature skitters off and down the way, lunging and slithering along. Adrian breaks off at a dead run, after the impossibly-quick creature, pistol raised and firing. Two, three, four shots ricochet off hte hallway, until the beast crawls up and through a window, plummetting.

"Damnit! DAMNIT!!" He rushes to the widnow and presses his head out, looking downwards. Nothing.

He curses and pulls his head back, then slams his boot against the wall. He holsters his pistol and looks to Dith.

"It's out. All it needs is a small mammal, and then it'll grow. We need to find this thing as soon as possible, Dith. Burn the body and the dead facehugger, and make sure everyone is on alert for a strange-looking creature. They'll recognize it."
