Heyz people. Thanks for playing the song today, I really appreciate the effort put in by everyone.
As suggested, the ending may be extended and the clapping may be replaced by drums. However, after reviewing the .gp3 file, I've decided *not* to. This is because:
1) The clapping is like a "flavor" for this song. This is a friendship song by the way (in case you didn't already notice).
2) The ending puts the song to just under 3 minutes. Maybe alittle to short, but I'd like to keep things simple and not add another 16 bars just to push it to 3:30. Of course, once we succeeded in playing exactly as sounded in the .gp3 and you guys still feel the song can be extended, I'll do it. I already have several ideas for it.
The ending: Notice that the ending is quite, in fact, pretty sophisticated. If we can play the piece exactly as it sounded in the .gp3, I think it will not sound abrupt, nor strange.
A pity our keyboard cannot do the choir and the clap. Jinfeng, I have nothing for you for this song. Maybe you can feedback and suggest to me which part can you come in. Please do advise as I'm not very good with keyboard.
Joel, the bass is pretty neat. As long as you can play the beat like the .gp3, its okay. It can be abit sian, so if you wanna, you can change abit. But do keep the "feel" of the song. The reason why I choose the bass to be played in the pattern is so that the bass and drums will form a very nice snappy duet tempo. (If you look at the tabs, you'll notice there's a note which should be slided. Don't know if you played it just now)
I've sent Guorong the .gp3, incase you guys haven't got it, please tell me and I'll email to you.
Once again, thanks for the effort put in. I love you all.
Hehe. =)
