Subject: Trial by Fire

The GWA arena is packed, and the crowd is anticipating an incredible show. The fans are ready, the announcers are ready, and the wrestlers are ready. As the show's theme song begins to play, suddenly, the song stops and all of the arena's lights go out. Everyone in the arena falls silent as flames begin to rise up along the edges of the ramp, around the stage and down to the ring. The tension in the arena is so thick that were someone to sneeze, likely many in attendance would soil themselves from startlement.

Just as the arena feels as if it would explode from another moment of anticipation, a dark clad figure, clothes rimmed with flames drops down onto the stage from above, landing in a crouch as the low flames explode in a blinding flash. The figure makes his way to the ring, and grabs the mic.

"After more than a year away from the world of wrestling, I have returned," says Firebrand. I've held titles all across the country, I've taken my time off, and now I've chosen the most worthy of venues for my fantastic return. I've come back . . . to Gladiator Wrestling!"

"A man of few words," exclaims the announcer. "You heard it here folks, Firebrand is Back! What an announcement this will surely change the future of Gladiator Wrestling!"
