-..oh, so the little nightshade had the nerve to stare, but not the nerve to come closer. the beast stared right back. forget the bobcat, this was much more interesting. orbs flickered to the other one, noting the differences in both. so contrasting, their appearance and personalities. yet both would be deadly in their own right. they were large, yes, but bella'donna was sure to be hanging around somewhere. mothers are so untrusting. now what were the names of these little whelps..? ah yes, victor and socrates. victor had to be the bold, undaunted little one, and socrates the one who stared, the gleam of a blood-drinker in both their young eyes. yet for now, they were merely walking bundles of fur and small teeth and claws. a human would describe them as 'cute,' perhaps. a sane cat would describe them as 'to-be-killers.'..-
-..not having anything to fear from them, really, except for their mother, he took his chances of just sitting there and making mental observations. the bobcat just wasn't anything of real interest, one could suppose, not when you are so rarely graced with the youngest of the nightshade dynasty..-
