Hello, my name is Thistledown. I am a male river otter born on an island the grownups called Green Isle. I was a small musician who played the banjotta all day long, and sang songs for other otters on the island. It was a peaceful life. But one day, an army of vermin headed by a wildcat took over our beautiful home. I was knocked unconcious and rolled into the sea. I washed up on the border of Mossflower Woods, where I followed the trail up to Redwall Abbey. I was given food and shelter, and I also made a knew banjotta. I played and sang songs all day and for everyone who walked by, whether they wanted me to or not. Redwallers began calling me the "intolerable musician" because they found it unbearable to listen to my music all day long. I look up to Father Abbot for guidance, because I no longer have any parents or other family members. I don't even know if anyone survived the wildcat's attack. Well, that's my sad and woeful "tail" so far(keep in mind that I am only a young dibbun; despite my well educated speaking and writing).
