You sound like you know why (?) so how about enlightening the rest of us? :) I haven't got a clue as to why it's more difficult than dogs.
(I'm not talking about marking behaviour...I just mean plain old "let's don't crap on the rug, ASK to go out!" kind of housebreaking.)

All mine are housebroken, but they won't hold it as long as a dog...if they think you're blowing them off, they will go wherever they please.
