VoyForums Announcement: Programming and providing support for this service has been a labor of love since 1997. We are one of the few services online who values our users' privacy, and have never sold your information. We have even fought hard to defend your privacy in legal cases; however, we've done it with almost no financial support -- paying out of pocket to continue providing the service. Due to the issues imposed on us by advertisers, we also stopped hosting most ads on the forums many years ago. We hope you appreciate our efforts.

VoyForums is pleased to announce that we have now installed our new servers!

Sorry for the extended downtime folks. There were some complications in the migration but we took measures to ensure the data integrity of all the forums. Thank you for being patient during the recent past trying times. Going forward, we are excited to offer you a better, more reliable service, and look forward to rolling out new features. If you experience any weirdness or inconsistencies at all, please use this Bugs form to let us know!

These are very high end enterprise level servers. The new servers will vastly improve response and speed, be redundant, and greatly increase reliability and uptime. The new architecture is also easily scalable and expandable, allows us to rapidly add more servers as the need arises, which should be quite some time as the new servers are really that powerful.

• Free global VoyUser Accounts — with easy registration — and forums can switch on requiring registration to post.
• Return of hit counter statistics — Data has been collected on forum hits all along, and new totals will be viewable by admins and will again be updated nightly
• Increasing archives to 50 until permanent posts can be implemented
• Sticky threads

• Increased community features
• Admin tools to make maintaining forums easier
• BB style codes to make posting easier and safer
• Grouping forums together under communities
• Thread and post controls
• Updating graphics and abilities to improve forum aesthetics, looks (Graphic and Web Designers or Hobbyists, please send your portfolio links or resume's using this form.

Our immediate priority is security and admin tools for handling the user ids on their forums. We are very open to hearing what you would like as features for handling your users and how you would like it setup.
