# 4204 There's nowhere to post new messages (it was there earlier) in the main index, although you can reply to posts I've reposted that were archived. (Um, this forum doesn't have a box to post new messages either btw)

Before that, I was coming to report that a lot of my long threads (mostly) dissapeared, but the replies to the shorter ones too. One main post had 38 replies and all but say 4 vanished. One of the advantages of having a long thread 1) it encourages lurkers to come out and join the fun 2) it gives newcomers a sense of who we are (if the replies to most of the main posts go *poofie*into cyberspace, they can't exactly get a sense of Wow, this is a fun place to be.

Oh, well- is there anyway to get them back the way they are supposed to be? I don't really want to have to explain why all those replies went *poof* either. I had enough e-mail explaining about the porno invasion.(oh, I "forced" the main index into archive. I'm a little leery of messages getting lost in cyberspace,too much of that on the last board we were at.
