Here's an example. Many have noticed that the bills from Comcast that you try to knock off just keep coming back, again and again - so many times that the zip code sprayed on the bottom of the envelope felt raised to the touch. I deduced that it was because of the configuration of the address blocks (they're both in the upper left corner). Now you and I don't have contact with anyone who could communicate this to Comcast so they could possible redo their envelope design to this doesn't happen - And I also know that a supervisor or likely even a station manager would be the one who would make that contact. But If I tell a supervisor and he/she seeks out the proper person, it is likely to have some effect. If only for the money savings (there's a concept) of not processing that piece of mail until it wears out in would be a good idea. Not to mention the fact that the mailer will get his returned piece back in timely manner. However, if the supervisor fails to communicate, nothing happens, money's wasted and service is less than what it could be. Communication. Another part of this communication is feedback. That's the expectation of a response. Communication goes both ways.
